Additionally, she was host of the show's variety program It's Showtime from noon (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian attorney. She was born at Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. Her father married Ojales, a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan in 1982. Her younger sister, who is also an actor, is her father. Clare was a mother-in-law in the family of their father. Her death was at only 4 months old in 2007.
